DOMFESTA (Dominica Festival of Arts) organised by the Dominica Division of Culture is held each year in Dominica from the end of April to the beginning of June. The theme for this year is “Building Community Through Culture”.

On May 10, 2019 “The Art & Crafts Exhibition” dedicated to Dominica took place at the Old Mill Cultural Centre. Various Dominican artists took part in the exhibition: Earl Etienne, Aaron Hamilton, Margaux LaRocque, Hubert Rosabal, Lowell Royer, Keard George, Gareth Harris, Carol Sorhaindo, Chase Lawrence, Alexander Boyce and many others. Additionally, craft works were presented by Orlando Cuffy, Vanessa Winston, Jamie Cornelius, Madeleine Bonnie and others.

The brightest moments of life in Dominica were reflected in the works of artists and craftsmen: primeval nature with lush verdure and crystal waterfalls, indigenous people, carnival holidays, music and simple life.
